I spoke to Jack Charlton a little over a week ago. He said that all the reels I have on order, except for those ordered within the last month or so, are in production. He expects to be able to deliver virtually all of them by the last week in June or the first week in July. Remember that the 9700 models ordered previously and that are arriving soon will be delivered at the old prices. I do have a small inventory of Mako reels. Check the Mako page on this site to see what the current inventory is. Several of the reels being delivered this month are also intended for inventory. Let me know if you've had your heart set on one, but weren't willing to deal with a long wait.
I'd also like to note that I've decided to become a full-fledged Beulah flyrod dealer. That means I'm going to keep most of their models in stock for immediate delivery. I will also carry most of their lines that match up to those rods. Go to Misc/Used and click on the menu item that says FLY RODS. Most of the information you'll want to know will be there, and I'll continually update it as more becomes available. These are superb rods at a very fair price.
Stefan Brusky just delivered two more salmon reels and several two trout reels to me. . He has also added a 2.5" and a 2.75" Trout model in two different widths. These are all "bench made" reels delivered in under 60-90 days. See the Brusky page under NEW REELS.
Joe Janciuras reels are now available through Just Reels. He recently delivered a couple of the exact replicas of the vom Hofe Peerless #2, which is 2 3/4" in diameter. Anyone who knows Joe's work knows these are unbelievable reels. They are priced at $2500.00 and can be ordered with a hand made Arne Mason vom Hofe style case made especially for this reel for a total price of $2750.00. Only ten are being made at this time. He is also working on what he calls the Ebonite Raised Pillar. It is essentially a Perfection model (Size #1) in a rasied pillar style. See the Janciuras page for more information. In the meantime, contact me by phone or e-mail for more information.
