fly fishing reels from Just Reels

We have several fine reels to display. Please be patient on download time.

INFORMATION REGARDING PURCHASING MISCELLANEOUS EQUIPMENT

Almost without exception, what's listed in the Miscellaneous section has only one of each available. If you want it, don't hesitate before contacting me. When it's gone that's it. In most cases, what you see here cannot be replaced easily. I offer the same fifteen day turnaround for these products as I do new reels. PLEASE do not abuse this. Many other dealers have given up offering returns on used reels. Though sometimes I refer to this as the used section, fully half of the listings are actually closeouts of discontinued models, colors, or where I have decided not to carry a particular reel any longer. My inventory and the business-owned reels then become expendable at excellent savings for you. The conditions listed are accurate. In fact, most of my customers tell me that I am conservative on my condition reports. New reels are just that. Mint means that a reel may have been lined, but it has never been fished. Excellent usually means you'd be hard pressed to tell that it was used, but in fact it has been. Several of the reels on this list were intended to be used by me, but either never were or were used only once or twice. Since I am meticulous about taking care of my equipment, they are then almost always indistinguishable from new.

MISC. REELS FOR SALE

This list is accurate as of 1/24/12. More photos will be up very shortly.

  1. Bauer MXP1. I think this is the smallest reel (capacity-wise) in the extensive Bauer lineup. 3.25"x0.80" and 3.9oz. It'll hold a WF3F and 65yds of 20#. It actually has a composite cork disc drag which makes that 3.9oz even more impressive. It is anodized in Bauer's glossy black finish and comes with the original Bauer neoprene reelcase. It's likely been used, but you'd have a tough time proving it by its condition. Currently LH, but can be converted. Excellent. $295.00.

  2. Tibor Spring Creek Light. This is a serious trout reel. 2.8"x0.75" and 4.0oz. It'll hold a WF4F & 100yds of 20# or a WF5F & @75yds of 20#. It is anodized forest green and comes without a case or box. There are a couple of very tiny nicks, but it has no large dings or scratches. It is currently setup for LH. I think it's likely that it can be converted, but I don't know that for a fact. Excellent---. $250.00.

  3. Lamson LP-1. A very popular reel from the 1990's. At one time, Lamson was the best selling reel in the US. 2.625"x0.60" and 3.4oz. It'll hold a WF4F and 50yds of 20#. Has a satin black anodizing and looks to be unused. Comes with no case or box. This size has no drag and appears to not have a RH/LH bias either. I would guess that it would make a very sweet small trout reel as it features a particularly nice click sound in both directions. Excellent+. $150.00.SOLD

  4. Abel 0. The smallest drag reel that Abel has ever made to my knowledge. 2.75"x0.70" and 5.0oz. It'll hold a WF5F & 50yds of 20#. These feature the Abel Big Game cork drag system in a down-sized version, and is intended for serious trout fishing where trout take off much like bonefish and often get well into your backing. It comes with a SPARE SPOOL. Has the classic Abel black Coral finish. The reel is like-new and the spare spool is VG+. It does not have an outgoing click, but is the one with the RH/LH design so it can be converted. Both the reel and the spool come in original Abel cases. Excellent. $350.00.

  5. Galvan OB3. First introduced in the late 1990's this reel evolved from the Big Arbor models and were the first Galvans to feature large arbor design. 3.0"x0.95" and 4.5oz. It'll hold a WF5 & 80yds of 20#. It comes with a spruce green frame and a darker green spool. It features Galvan's super smooth synthetic disc drag. It comes with no case nor box. It's obviously been used a time or two, but aside from a tiny speck or two on the reelfoot it could nearly pass for new. Currently LH, but can be converted. Excellent. $150.00.

  6. Abel Super 4. Probably more trout reel than you'll ever need, but it'll be hard to resist at this price. 3.25"x0.75" and 5.5oz. It'll hold a WF4F & 100yds of 20# according to Abel, which means it'll hold a WF5F and probably 75yds of 20#. It features Abel's glossy black coral finish and shows minimal signs of ever having been fished. It comes with the original Abel black nylon case. Currently set up for LH, but can be converted. Excellent. $350.00.

  7. Dutch Reels Dutch 1. Ari Hart's second company, Ari't Hart International was sold a number of years ago and renamed Dutch Reels. Many of the Ari's reels are still being made (T-series, R-series, Ari-series, etc.) Dutch reels has also designed some reel of their own acknowledging Ari's influence. 2.85x0.825" and 5.3oz. It features Ari's cork drag system and his sweet soundng clicker mechanism. This has a dark titanium finish. Two notes: the spool is not easily removed so this should be acquired by someone who does not desire to change spools while fishing/it is also not easily converted to RH. It appears to be unused and comes in the original box, neoprene case, and with all the paperwork. Excellent+ LH only. $295.00.

  8. Franco Vivarelli Semi-automatic reel. This is a carbon reel so it is exceptionally light. 3.00"x0.65" and 3.6oz. It holds a WF5 & 120yds of 20#. All black. A semi-automatic is different than the automatic reels of years ago. This functions just like a regular single action reel except instead of a crank there's an arm that protrudes from the front of the frame. Lifting that arm winds back all the slack line. I know these appeal to those fishers who have minimal use of one hand. One could actually fight any relatively small trout or warmwater fish with this reel even if missing an arm. With the introduction of Czech nymphing techniques into North America this style of reel is becoming more and more popular. Internal parts are stainless and bronze so it's an inexpensive reel that should last quite some time. LH, but could probably be used the other way around. Appears to have been used, but not abused. Comes with the original case, instruction sheet, and allen wrench to modify the "drag." 25% off retail. $195.00.

  9. Guideline Haze 24. For at least the time being, I'm giving up my Guideline dealership. That means what I have in stock, which isn't much, is going out the door at a terrific price. This one is brand new in the box from my inventory. 3.25"x1.10" and 4.3oz. It'll hold a WF4F and 80yds of 20#. Will be shipped set up for LH, but can be converted using directions included. Better than 50% off retail. $95.00.

  10. Guideline Quadra 24. For at least the time being, I'm giving up my Guideline dealership. That means what I have in stock, which isn't much, is going out the door at a terrific price. This one is brand new in the box from my inventory. 3.25"x1.20" and 3.8oz. It'll hold a WF4F and 80yds of 20#. Currently set up for LH, but can be converted. Better than 50% off retail. $150.00.

  11. ATH Design Gallatin 1. Although designed by Ari, these were put into production by the Danish ATH company. 2.4" (spool diameter) x0.85" and 4.9oz. It'll hold a WF4F and 80 yds of 20#. The key is that it features the legendary Ari drag. There are few actual drags intended for trout reels that are anywhere near being in this league. The finish is gold frame with a silver spool. It looks to have been used very little. It comes in the original box with an ATH neoprene case. Currently LH, but unlike earlier ATH models, this one can be converted without much trouble. Excellent+. $395.00.SOLD

  12. Orvis CFO IIID. This is an example of the CFO after production was switched to BFR and the reel was fully machined. The "D" means it has a modest disc drag. 3.00"x0.70" and 4.0oz. It's rated for a WF5&50yds of 20#, but I believe it'll do slightly better than that. This is in deep spruce green with a silver reelfoot. It is one of the early BFR reels that was made in England. Current production comes from Asia. There are some tiny marks on the frame, spool, and reelfoot. Nothing major, but you'll know it's been used. It comes in the original zipper reelcase. Currently LH, but can be converted. Excellent---. $250.00.

  13. Abel TR3. This is the well regarded click only reel from Abel. Introduced quite awhile ago(1992), they were discontinued for a time and brought back fairly recently (2008.) The key is that this size is not included so that the only way to acquire it is on the secondary market. 3.2"x0.75" and 4.6oz. It'll hold a WF6&130yds of 20#. I owned one of these years ago and loved it for warmwater fishing. It was light and held enough backing to use an 8 weight line with it. This one comes with the original Abel reelcase. It appears to be in perfect condition except for one small mark on the reelfoot. RH/LH. Excellent. $295.00.

  14. LH Design Series C #4. One of the most exquisite reels made today and rarely seen on the secondary market. This is a super rare model that has gold plated screws and an ebony box with a titanium plate engraved with the LH Design name and reel model. Unbelievably gorgeous. The Series C models have an S-handle and the incredibly smooth Syntex drag. 3.0"x0.80" and 7.5oz. It'll hold a WF5F and 90yds of 20#. Even more interesting is the serial number---001. Now Leen begins each model with 001 so this serial number means it's the first C #4 made, not the first ever LH reel or even the first in the entire C series. I'd rate the condition as Mint. There's not a single mark on the reel or box, and even the white fleece case is spotless surgical white. One of the most spectacular collector reels I've had in over eighteen years in business. RH or LH. $4995.00.

  15. Hardy Marquis 5. This is a reel that has been in and out of the Hardy lineup since the early 1970s when it was called the Scientific Anglers System 5. It is no longer offered by Hardy as they now only make the salmon sizes in the Marquis. 3.0"x0.65" and 3.9oz. It'll hold a WF5F and 50yds of 20#. This is a later version that has a deep gray finish on the spool other than the silver rim control. Shows very little sign of use and the rim control is perfect. It comes with the original blue zippered case and box. LH/RH. Excellent. $295.00.

  16. Hardy "The Lightweight." This one features a two screw spool latch, has no separate lineguard, and has a solid spool. 3.2"x0.75" and 3.8oz. It'll hold a DT5F and 50yds of backing. A perfect trout reel for a 4 or 5 weight rod. These British made reels are becoming more sought after by Hardy aficionados as Hardy gradually moves production from the UK to Asia. This one works perfectly mechanically, but shows the normal edgewear around the frame. I would rate the cosmetic condition as VG. It does not have a reelcase or box included. Currently set up for RH, but is easily changed. $295.00.SOLD

  17. LH Design Series AA #5. One of the most exquisite reels made today and rarely seen on the secondary market. The AA models are the same size at the A models, but have a two-way click system rather than the Syntex drag found in the A reels. I've never been convinced that one really needs a drag in reels of this size, at least not most of the time. The advantage is that leaving the drag out eliminates some weight and also removes the RH/LH retrieve issue. These are completely made from "pure" titanium. 2.8"x0.80" and 5.2oz. It'll hold a WF5F and 90yds of 20#. Even more interesting is the serial number---001. Now Leen begins each model with 001 so this serial number means it's the first AA #5 made, not the first ever LH reel or even the first in the entire AA series. Nevertheless, it's not often one can get a chance at a reel with that serial number at anything close to a realistic price. I'd rate the condition as Mint. There's not a single mark on the reel and even the white fleece case is spotless surgical white. $1850.00.

  18. LH Design Series BB #5. One of the most exquisite reels made today and rarely seen on the secondary market. The BB models are the same size at the B models, but have a two-way click system rather than the Syntex drag found in the B reels. I've never been convinced that one really needs a drag in reels of this size, at least not most of the time. The advantage is that leaving the drag out eliminates some weight and also removes the RH/LH retrieve issue. These are completely made from "pure" titanium. 3.0"x0.80" and 5.9oz. It'll hold a WF5F and 90yds of 20#. Even more interesting is the serial number---002. Now Leen begins each model with 001 so this serial number means it's the second BB#5 made, not the second ever LH reel or even the second in the entire BB series. Nevertheless, it's not often one can get a chance at a reel with a serial number under 10 at anything close to a realistic price. I'd rate the condition as Mint. There's not a single mark on the reel and even the white fleece case is spotless surgical white. $1995.00.

  19. Abel AC1. AC stands for Abel Creek and this is the standard arbor model. It's design is about as simple as it gets. 3.15"x0.60" and 3.8oz. It'll hold a WF5F & 100yds of 20#. The large arbor spools fit on this same frame. It features the popular Abel black coral finish. It does not come with a case or a box. It features a gear and pawl system which is not externally adjustable and LH/RH conversion is quite simple. This one has a few marks on the reelfoot, but the frame and spool are in superb condition. Excellent---. $195.00.

  20. Wellstone Trout 2. One of my favorite trout sized reels with a drag. I've used my Trout 3 for bonefish and have also landed a 28# carp with it on the flats of Lake Michigan. You can get a lot more details on it by checking out the Wellstone page of my website. 3.30x0.80" and 4.25oz. It'll hold a WF5F & 100yds of backing. It has an extensive cork disc drag and a beautiful blue anodized finish. It shows some rough edges at spots on the frame and also a few spots on the spool rim. It operates just fine, however. It comes with a non-original Orvis neoprene case, but the original box, instructions, and spare parts. Currently RH, but can be converted. VG externally, but Excellent internally. Save significantly over new. $295.00.

  21. Fin-Nor #1 DD. Usually referred to as the second generation of the Fin-Nor fly reels, there were actually a few generations within that group. This one has "FIN-NOR No 1" on the backplate as well as "SINCE 1933." The drag knob is on the spoolside and is too small to have any engraving. 2.9"x0.9" and 8oz. It'll hold a WF6F and 100yds of 20#. These were usually used for serious trout fishing and light saltwater. There were far fewer options available in the 1970's than there are today and these were highly sought after. All gold finish with a silver reelfoot and counterbalance. NO rim control. It features a superb drawbar type disc drag. There are some marks around the edge of the frame in both the front and the back. However, none of it serious and in no way effects performance. The handle has faded from black to gray. It comes with the original box, a Fin-Nor neoprene reelcase, a small bag of spare parts, and some paperwork. LH only as there is no practical way to convert these. Excellent---. $395.00.

  22. Harris Solitude 2. This is the Limited Edition dedicated to the Paul H. Young TU chapter in Michigan. 3.0"x0.82" and 5.75oz. It'll hold a WF5F and 100yds of 20#.It has a light gold anodizing and is as-new. It is not serial numbered, but less than 75 of these were done. Currently, LH but could be converted, though it's a chore. Mint. $295.00.

  23. Scierra TX2 56. This was Scierra's top line reel just a few years ago. It was also marketed as a 57 model. 3.35"x1.1" and 6.0oz. It'll hold a WF6F and 120yds of 20#, which means it'll hold a WF5F and at least 150yds or a WF7F and 90-100yds of 20#. It features their gorgeous midnight blue finish and has the entire backplate serving as the drag adjustment "knob." It comes with the original neoprene case, box, and paperwork. It is as-new, unlined and unfished. Currently LH, but can be converted. Mint. Save a bundle! $195.00.

  24. Abel Pt.5. This is a later Abel, but still before they installed an outgoing click. It does have the squared-tooth gear, though, so it is easily changed from RH to LH. 3.0"x0.75" and 5.0oz. It'll hold a WF6F and 120yds of 20#, though it is often used with 5 weight lines and even occasionally for trout with 7 weight lines. With some GSP backing it could even be a light saltwater reel. It comes with the original nylon Abel reelcase. There's some very fine rash along the rim on this one. The reelfoot is fine. Overall, I'd rate it as Excellent---. RH or LH. $250.00.

  25. Charlton 8450C with 5/6 spool. I sold about eight of these within two months last year. Probably the Charlton in highest demand. Also likely the finest trout reel ever! Not new, but indistinguishable from a new reel. Comes in a non-original box and reelcase. RH/LH. $1495.00.SOLD

  26. Guideline Quadra 68. For at least the time being, I'm giving up my Guideline dealership. That means what I have in stock, which isn't much, is going out the door at a terrific price. This one is brand new in the box from my inventory. 3.70"x1.25" and 6.1oz. It'll hold a WF7F and 100yds of 20#. Currently set up for LH, but can be converted. Better than 50+% off retail. $195.00.

  27. LH Design Series B #6/7. One of the most exquisite reels made today and rarely seen on the secondary market. This particular reel also has a stunning engraving of a trout on the backplate. The B models feature Leen's Syntex drag which is among the smoothest drags I've ever experienced. These are completely made from "pure" titanium. 3.15"x0.80" and 6.8oz. It'll hold a WF7F and 100yds of 20#. Even more interesting is the serial number---002. Now Leen begins each model with 001 so this serial number means it's the second B#6/7 made, not the second ever LH reel or even the second in the entire B series. Nevertheless, it's not often one can get a chance at a reel with a serial number under 10 at anything close to a realistic price. I'd rate the condition as Mint. There's not a single mark on the reel and even the white fleece case is spotless surgical white. RH. $2995.00.

  28. Pflueger 1495DA-Made in USA. This is a somewhat older version of this reel which hasn't been made in the US for quite some time. 3.6"x0.80" and 6.3oz. Years ago I used one of these for warmwater fishing. I had a WF8F and probably 50yds of backing on it. Depending upon the species pursued, this could be anything from a six to nine weight. It shows a little wear along the edge of the frame, but for a reel of this vintage is in quite nice shape. Comes in a non-original neoprene case and a box. The Medalists were discontinued last year. Currently LH, but can be converted. Excellent--- $50.00.

  29. Harris Solitude 3. This is the Pere Marquette Limited Edition and has a serial number under 50. 3.25"x0.90" and 6.3oz. It'll hold a WF7F & 150yds of 20#. This one could be collected or it could be fished at this price point. It is set up for LH and could be converted if necessary, but it is a chore. Excellent. $295.00.

  30. Abel 1 with ported frame. 3.25"x0.80" and 6.8oz. It'll hold a WF7F &125yds of 20#. It's destiny is as a large trout reel, or perhaps a light steelhead model. I also know guys who use it with six or seven weight lines for bones in Mexico or Belize. It has a few small marks on the frame and spool, but overall I would rate the condition as Exc.---. It features the square-toothed gear so it is easily converted from LH to RH. Currently LH. It comes with the original Abel nylon reelcase. $250.00.

  31. Marryat MR8. One of the original Marryat models in their bronze finish. 3.0"x1.0" and 4.6oz. It'll hold a WF8F & 200yds of 20#. Both a fishing buddy of mine and I have used this model for bonefish back before I started this business. It certainly has an excellent capacity for its weight. However, in this day and age most of us no longer use a 3 inch reel for bones. I think the real use for this reel is for warmwater fishing. In addition to bonefishing, mine was always with me when I was bass fishing, whether smallmouth or largemouth. This one has had some use. The drag is not as smooth as they were new, although it's still more than usable. The frame, reelfoot, and rim of the spool have numerous small nicks. However, it's all cosmetic and there are no major dings or scratches. It comes in a non-original nylon pouch. It's currently set up for LH and without instructions I'm not going to attempt to convert it. I'm sure instructions can be acquired, however, and they are convertible without sending them out. VG+. $150.00.

  32. Abel #3RR. A perfect reel for big bonefish, small permit, and steelhead or Atlantic salmon fishing. 3.9"x1.1" and 9.4oz. It'll hold a WF9F and 200yds of 20#. It features the black coral finish that Abel is so known for and comes with a SPARE SPOOL. Both the reel and spool feature the Abel nylon reelcase, box, and a blank warranty card. Condition is at least Excellent as I can't really find a single mark on the frame or spool. The original owner, a well-known guide, has his name professionally engraved on the backplate, but that's it. It has the square-toothed gear so it is easily convertible from LH to RH. Currently LH. $395.00.

  33. Fin-Nor #2 AR. Usually referred to as the second generation of the Fin-Nor fly reels, there were actually a few generations within that group. This one has NO engraving on the backplate, but has "Fin-Nor Anti-Reverse" engraved on the drag knob. 3.2"x1.0" and 11oz. It'll hold a WF8F and 200yds of 20#. More bonefishing and fishing for similar species was done with anti-reverse reels in the early days and this reel, along with the Seamaster Salmon, was the reel of choice for those who had the means to acquire one. It features an all gold finish with a silver reelfoot. No rim control. It has an absolutely superb drawbar type disc drag. There are some small marks on the finish, especially on the edges of the frame, but they are few in number and really quite minor, particularly considering that it may well be forty years old and most of these early reels were fished hard and have only been collected more recently. The double handles have faded from black to gray. It comes with the original box, a Fin-Nor neoprene reelcase, a small bag of spare parts, and some paperwork. LH only as there is no practical way to convert these. Excellent. $350.00.

  34. Abel 3N. Maybe the most popular sized Abel reel in their original big game series. This one has the "Camo/Old Glory" finish. It also has an Abel Arm that also has that same finish. While these are a little too much for me, I know a lot of guys love them as Abel has turned a significant amount of their production over to these types of finishes. 3.65"x0.70" and 8.7oz with the arm. It'll hold a WF8F and 225yds of 20#. It comes with the original Abel nylon reelcase and box. These bring a premium price when new (just check out Abel on eBay.) This is as-new as it's never been lined or fished. Mint. $595.00.

  35. Abel 3N. Perhaps one of the most popular bonefish reels of all time. And Del Brown used his to catch many of his 500+ permit over the years. This one is ported and comes with a RR SPARE SPOOL. 3.7"x0.70" and 8.8.oz. It'll hold a WF8F and 225yds of 20# and the spool about the same with one line weight lower. It features the famous Abel black coral finish. The frame and spool have some marks on the edges and the original owner's initials's are professionally engraved on the backplate. Neither the reel nor the spool have a case. It has the square-toothed gear so it is convertible from LH to RH. Currently LH. VG+. $295.00.SOLD

  36. Charlton 8500SS 0.8. Again, there is no need to go into detail on these reels. Anyone who is likely to buy it knows a lot about it already, maybe more than I do. This is the perfect size for bonefishing, most single-handed rod salmon fishing, and I even used mine on permit. This one has some very minor boat rash on a small area of the frame. LH only (though SA can convert it.) Excellent. $2395.00.

  37. Einarsson Nine Plus. A new reel company from Iceland. This one will cover anything from an 8 weight to at least a 10. 4.3"x1.5" and 8.2oz. It'll hold a WF9F and 200yds of 30#. The color is called natural, which is essentially a satiny silver. I've used this reel several times and have to say I was impressed. The plans were for me to be their dealer, but somehow communications broke down and that never came to pass. At the price shown, this is probably the best "deal" on this entire list. Comes with the original neoprene reelcase and instruction sheet. Currently RH, but can be converted. Excellent. $295.00.SOLD

  38. Orvis DXR 9/10 DD. Over the years I've been somewhat critical of some of the reels Orvis has developed. This is one where they got it right. It's nice looking, has a serious offset drag and very nice capacity for its weight. These were made by Lamson Reels for Orvis. When Lamson was purchased by Sage, Orvis moved production of the DXR models to Ross. These early Lamson models seems to be the most sought after. 3.5"x1.0" and oz. It'll hold a WF9F and 250yds of 20#. It comes with the original Orvis reelcase, but no box or paperwork. Currently LH, but can be converted. Has been lined, but not fished. Excellent. $295.00.

  39. Lamson Litespeed LS 3.5. Another one of these very popular models from WaterWorks/Lamson. This one just came back from Lamson for an overall checkup. 3.95"x1.35" and 6.7oz. It'll hold a WF9F and 200yds 20#. I have a couple of fishing buddies who use this reel for most of their bonefishing and love it. It's also a nice salmon and steelhead reel and is light enough to be a superb warmwater or striper reel. This one is matte gray. There are a couple of very tiny marks on the drag knob, reelfoot, and frame, but overall the reel is in excellent condition. It comes with the original neoprene case, instruction book, and box. Excellent. Currently LH, but can be converted. $250.00.

  40. Pflueger 1498DA-Made in USA. This is a somewhat older version of this reel which hasn't been made in the US for quite some time. 4.0"x0.85" and 8.0oz. For years, this was the poor man's tarpon and striper reel. Ken Abrames will tell you that you still don't need anything better than this for stripers. I know guys who use this as a reel for a switch rod or for short, lightweight spey fishing. I'd say it would hold about a WF10F and 200yds of 30#. It has enough marks on it that you know it was used, but there's nothing major. Comes in a non-original neoprene reelcase and a box. The Medlists were discontinued in 2011. Currently LH, but can be converted. Excellent. $75.00.

  41. Ross Gunnison G5. A very popular reel for speyfishing, especially with switch rods and short, light lineweight speyfishing. 4.00"x.080" and 6.1oz. It'll hold a WF9F and 250yds of 20#. And it comes with a SPARE SPOOL. This is the reel that helped Ross develop the recognition that they still have today. It comes with the original neoprene reelcase and box. It comes with the instruction book and a blank warranty card. LH or RH. Excellent. $250.00.SOLD

  42. LH Design Spey model. The newest reels from LH Design are their saltwater models that feature a center-mounted cork disc drag and have the kind of drag range necessary for saltwater fishing. The Bonefish, Tarpon, and Sailfish reels can be seen on the LH Design page of my website under NEW REELS and on the LH Design site. This is exactly the same reel as the Tarpon model, but it's been engraved to be the "Spey #9/10." It is engraved with this information plus has a beautiful engraving of a spey fly on the backplate. These are probably the finest overall reels in the LH lineup. Although the cost of ordering a new one depends upon the Euro/Dollar exchange, right now my site lists a new tarpon for $8950.00. 3.95"x1.3" and 12.4oz. It'll hold a WF10F and 300yds of 30# and an 8/9 Scando head with running line and about 150yds of 30#. The condition is absolutely mint and even the fleece reelcase is a spotless surgical white. RH. $6995.00.

  43. Seamaster Tarpon This is the second generation of the Seamaster anti-reverse reels. 3.9"x1.05" ands 12.7oz. It'll hold a WF12F and 250yds of 30#. Certainly one of the finest anti-reverse tarpon reels ever made. It features the bright gold anodizing that Cap'n Mack used at this time (early to mid-1970's.) It has just had an overhaul so it has a new cork disc and works like the day it was new. The only negative is that the owner has engraved his initials into the saddle of the reelfoot. There are some fairly faint scratches on the frame, but nothing that has gone through the anodized finish. It comes with the original zippered Seamaster reelcase, box and certificate of ownership with a blank warranty card! RH only. Excellent---$1495.00.

  44. Charlton 8550C FRAME (2). This one is very scarce. This frame can be matched up to any of the four spools in the configurable series-Bonefish, Tarpon, Spey, and Offshore. These are unused. One is RH and the other is LH, and they cannot be converted. $1995.00ea.

  45. Abel Big Game 4N. This is the perfect size for tarpon and similar fish. The Super Series 4N is a trout reel, but this is the original Big Game model. 4.1"x0.95" and 11.5oz. It'll hold a WF12F and 300yds of 30#. It features the round ventilating holes, non-ported backplate, bright black Coral finish, square toothed gear (which allows for RH/LH conversion) and no outgoing click. Like most used Abels, it features some dandruff (places where the anodizing has been removed down to the aluminum.) It's fairly minimal, but there's a section on the rim control and another very small part on the edge of the backplate. However, it performs superbly and is a great way to get a reel of this quality at a great price. It comes with the original Abel nylon case. Excellent---$395.00.

  46. Henschel #4 Dual-mode. By far the finest reel that Karl-Heinz Henschel makes and is one of the top three or four twelve weight reels on the planet. I’m no longer a Henschel dealer as they’ve decided to sell direct and this is the one reel I still have on hand. 4.1”x0.95” and 15.3oz. It’ll hold a WF12F and 275yds of 30#. Features the Henschel super HartCoat which is about the most durable finish you’ll find on almost any reel. This one has an outgoing click and the progressive reelfoot, is brand new from my inventory, and is set up for RH and cannot be converted unless sent back to Germany. New! 30%+ off. $995.00.

  47. Scientific Anglers System 3 11/12. This was SA's first attempt at the premium reel market. This reel was designed by Herman Voss, with help from Al Frens and others at API. It is an extremely well made and well designed reel that retailed for over $800.00 initially when new. 3.875"x1.2" and 11.0oz. It'll hold a WF12F and 350yds of 30#. The drag on this reel is serious, indeed, and is what it became most famous for during its short run. The drag knob has detents and the system itself features a quiet incoming click and a more dramatic outgoing click. Unfortunately, SA has a history of not supporting really high-end reels (and other tackle items) long enough for the serious flyfisher to get excited about them. The Charltons are certainly a case in point. Trust me on this, these are terrific reels and are very usable in today's saltwater venues. It comes with original suede reelcase. It shows just the slightest bit of use, but is clearly Excellent. RH or LH. $350.00.

  48. Mako by Charlton 9550 1012 Stealth. The second most popular size of the Mako in the increasingly popular Stealth finish which is a $200.00 upgrade. The box has been opened on this one, but the reel hasn't even been lined. Save the wait (which can be six months for the Stealth finish.) LH, but can be converted by Charlton. As-new. $1195.00.

  49. HarrisonSW Archangel AR. Felton Harrison was the first person to use titanium in a commercially available fly reel that I know of. It's not the frame or spool that's titanium. It's the pawl, spindle, handle and a few other small parts that normally would be of much heavier stainless steel. I believe that only about 104 reels were ever sold with the HarrisonSW name. They were available in four sizes and in both direct drive and anti-reverse. This one is anti-reverse. Suffice it to say that all the models are quite scarce. 3.95"x1.475" and 10.4oz. It will hold a WF12F and 350+yds of 30# backing. It features beautiful gold anodizing with a large impregnated wood handle. The drag knob is on the handle side. This one has seen some use of the years. The frame is in excellent condition, but the arbor area of the spool has some minor corrosion that has been nicely buffed out. These have been seriously sought after by collectors. It could, of course, make someone a nice tarpon or sailfish reel or it could be used as a lightweight, large capacity speyreel, perhaps. It comes in a non-original reelpouch and the owner's manual. Excellent(except as noted.) RH only. $995.00.

  50. Wellstone DH 9-12. The DH is shorthand for double-handed and indeed this is intended for speyfishing and other double-handed rod use. 4.3"x1.35" and 13.3oz. It'll hold a 9/10 Scandi head, running line, and at least 150yds of 30#. It comes with a SPARE SPOOL. The drag is synthetic which is intended to just about eliminate wet drag issues when fishing moving water. I've used this one a bit. It's just that I don't do nearly as much speyfishing as I used to, and I have a lot of reels designed for it (Brusky, Olson, Saracione, etc.) This reel is black and is in excellent condition. Currently RH, but can be converted. This setup is almost $1200.00 retail. Get it now for $795.00.

  51. Fin-Nor #4DD. Usually referred to as the second generation of Fin-Nor fly reels, it has "Since 1933" on the backplate and a small drag knob with no engraving. 3.7"x1.5" and 12.5oz. It'll hold at least a WF12F & 350yds of 30#. This was the finest tarpon reel available in the early to mid-70's at anything approaching the price most fishers could afford. It has a superb cork disc drag, but no rim control or outgoing click. This one shows it's been used with some very minor surface scratches, but there are no significant scratches or dings. The owner's name is engraved in the pocket of the reelfoot. It comes in the original maroon box with a zippered reelcase and paperwork. RH only. Excellent---.$395.00

  52. Charlton 8550C with the Offshore spool. One of the Charlton models that are in the highest demand. This one is in excellent condition, although it has been used once or twice. It comes with the cordura Charlton reelcase, but no box or papers. Offshore spools cannot be converted and still have the cooling fins be effective. RH/LH. Excellent. $3495.00.

  53. Charlton 8550C with the Offshore spool. One of the Charlton models that are in the highest demand. This one is in as-new condition. It comes with the cordura Charlton reelcase, but no box or papers. Offshore spools cannot be converted and still have the cooling fins be effective so figure RH only. Mint. NEW LOWER PRICE! $3995.00.

  54. Seamaster Mark IV. This is an early Mark IV, as it has the chromed and shouldered pillars instead of the monobloc frame. 4.5"x1.35" and 14.5oz. Perhaps the most desirable Seamasters for collectors are these direct drive models, and the early pillar reels are the most sought after. Truthfully, this reel is in very nice condition, internally and externally, and could easily be either fished or put in a collection of fine reels. The Mark IV was really intended for pelagic fishing, but many guys also used it for large tarpon. There are no nicks, scrapes, or other signs of use. The only negative is the fact that the owner engraved his name in the pocket of the reelfoot. It comes with the original zippered case, paperwork (including a blank warranty card) and the original box. RH only. Excellent. $2495.00.

  55. Emery Sailfish. This is the larger of the two Emery reels normally seen. I've heard that a bonefish size reel was done at some point, but I've never seen one. This one has a serial number high enough that this is not one of the reels that John Emery actually made. After his unfortunate death, his wife and son made another run of reels of this size. What that means is it doesn't carry the fairly high price that one of those that actually have John's fingerprints tends to carry these days. 4.35"x1.2" and 14oz. It'll hold a WF12F and a ton of 30# backing, probably in excess of 500yds. It was designed for pelagic fish, and I would assume it should hold a shooting head, short running line, and probably close to 1000yds of 50# PowerPro. All of John's reels were silent in both directions. This one is set up for LH retrieve and I'm not sure there's an easy way to convert it. The only wear, and it is minimal, is around the reelfoot. The rest of the satin black finish looks just about new. Excellent. LH only. NEW LOWER PRICE! $795.00.

  56. Emery Sailfish. This is the larger of the two Emery reels normally seen. I've heard that a bonefish size reel was done at some point, but I've never seen one. This one has a serial number low enough that it marks it as one of the original Emery reels. These are reels that John Emery completely made before his unfortunate death. This one is set up for RH retrieve, and I'm not sure there's an easy way to convert it. The original Emery reels were known for their reelfoot that couldn't be trusted. Many owners who actually used their reel had this corrected. This one has been corrected, but truthfully the fix has some rough edges. When the photos go up I've shot a photo straight on the reelfoot, and you'll see what I mean. The only other negative is that the owner engraved his name in the pocket of the reelfoot. The rest of the glossy black finish looks just about new. Serial number is <100. Excellent---. RH only. $995.00.

  57. Peaker Billfish. John Emery's reels were so highly thought of in their day that several attempts to clone them occurred. I used to own one of them, called the Summit. This is another one that I had never seen until this one arrived. The finish is closer to being a satin black, much like the second run of the Emery's that I've seen. Otherwise, it really is difficult to tell them apart. One improvement over the original Emery is that the reelfoot is dovetailed. 4.35"x1.2" and 16.1oz. That means it's over two ounces heavier than the equivalent Emery. It should hold a WF12F and 400-500yds of 30#. There's one very small mark on the end of the reelfoot, otherwise the reel clearly looks unused. The only negative is that the owner engraved his name in the saddle of the reelfoot. When the photo goes up it'll look like the ends of the reelfoot are bent down. Well, they are, but it's intentional, probably intended to improve the fit between reelfoot and reelseat. Excellent. RH only. $595.00.

  58. Charlton 8600B. Along with the 8500SS 1.6, probably the rarest of the saltwater Charltons. In high demand, but the prices they go for sometimes means those who want one still shy away. I understand. This is the first one I've had in here in over three years. Never lined, never fished, and comes with the original Cordura reelcase. It does not have a box, however. LH, but could be converted if desired. Mint. NEW LOWER PRICE. $4995.00.

  59. TFO/Hayden #1. Upon going through some of my inventory I noticed a few of these lying around that still had the original silver finish from a few years ago. These are brand new, from my inventory, but do not have the current Type III anodizing. I actually think this finish has a nicer appearance, but the Type III is certainly more rugged. The #1 is 3.75"x1.35" and 11.5oz. It'll hold a WF9F and 200yds of 30# and is a very well made and rugged reel. This is 50% off the current retail of $400.00. Buy a spare spool for another $50.00. RH or LH. $195.00.

  60. TFO/Hayden #2. Upon going through some of my inventory I noticed a few of these lying around that still had the original silver finish from a few years ago. These are brand new, from my inventory, but do not have the current Type III anodizing. I actually think this finish has a nicer appearance, but the Type III is certainly more rugged. The #2 is 4.0 "x1.35" and 12.4oz. It'll hold a WF12F and 250yds of 30# and is a very well made and rugged reel. This exact model is one of my favorite tarpon reels. This is almost 50% off the current retail of $425.00. Buy a spare spool for another $50.00. RH or LH. $225.00.SOLD

  61. TFO/Hayden #3. Temple Fork has decided to discontinue the Hayden series. Truth is, they were superb reels for the price, but are fairly heavy on the new superlightweight rods that are becoming pretty standard these days, such as the TFO/BVK series. 4.65"x1.4" and 14.5oz. It's listed as holding a WF14F & 400yds of 30#. There's not many of us fishing a 14 weight floater these days. I can tell you that it will hold a typical shooting head for pelagic fishing, with a one hundred foot running line and somewhere near 700yds of 50# GSP. In other words, this is a bluewater reel, or it could be used as a very inexpensive speyreel for use on longer and heavier rods. These are new from inventory and have the Type III hard anodized finish. I have a spare spool for it listed under SPARE SPOOLS on this site for $50.00. The reel is $200.00 off retail. $250.00.

  62. TFO LA310. Temple Fork is not discontinuing these superb reels, but they introduced them in colors recently (black, gold, and red) and are therefore no longer going to be carrying the original pewter. I always liked the pewter (in fact I'll probably hang on to mine instead buying the new ones) but the newer glossy finishes seem to be what customers want. I have all four sizes in stock and all are marked down $100.00. These are among the best reel values anywhere even at retail, so this just makes them even more attractive. See the specs on the Temple Fork page under "New Reels". See also the spare spools for $50.00 each under "Spare Spools" elsewhere on this page. NEW. RH or LH. $150.00.

  63. TFO LA340. 65. MISC. GEAR FOR SALE

  66. Mystic Rod M383-3. A new rod from the Michigan company Mystic Outdoors. This is an 8' 3" 3 weight/3 piece. Beautiful rod with extremely nice cork for this day and age and a maple insert in the reelseat that's anodized aluminum but looks very much like nickel/silver. It features a crisp action but is not a stiff rod and seems to handle a three weight best. It's brand new except for a brief session on the lawn. Even the plastic wraps are still on the cork. It comes in a hard fibre rod tube and sock with all the paperwork. It hasn't even been registered for a warranty yet. As new... 40%+ off the retail. $195.00.

  67. Beulah Guide 7'6" 3 weight 4piece. The shortest rod in the considerable stable of rods that Beulah offers and one of only two 3 weights. A beautiful rod for close-in work. Has only had the plastic wraps on the grips removed and was lawncast for about ten minutes. Comes with the original rodtube, sock, and a blank warranty card. A great deal at $195.00.

  68. Loomis GL4 FR1086-4. This is a 9' 6 weight 4piece Loomis that has almost the identical actions as the same rod in the GLX series. The only difference is that they don't use the GLX graphite on it which allowed it original retail to be nearly $200.00 less than the GLX. It does cast well. I truly is hard to distinguish it from a GLX because I have that rod in my quiver. It is slightly heavier, but not much as it uses the same graphite reelseat and single foot snake guides as the GLX model. It comes with the original tube and sock. The cork shows some use, but there is not a single mark on the blank. Excellent. $195.00.

  69. Sage TCX 790-4. Considered by many to be Sage's best casting rod ever. They tamed this one down a bit from the superstiff TCR and moved it into their Generation 5 technology. It does not have the butt strength of the Xi3, nor does it have the oversized saltwater strippers and snakes. But the truth is they aren't necessary on rods in this line weight. It comes with the original rodsock and tube. There really are no signs that this rod was ever used as even the cork shows virtually no soiling. It likely was lawncast, but maybe never fished. NEW LOWER PRICE! $450.00.

  70. Beulah Guide 9'6" 8/9 weight 3piece. I'm not sure this rod ever ended up being in the Beulah catalog. Anyway, it's an early Beulah, which were then 3 piece rods. Looks similar to the current rods and comes with the original sock and tube. I personally used this rod for dry fly Atlantic salmon fishing and also occasionally used it out of a float tube or pontoon boat for largemouth bass. Its action is a little to progressive for my tastes in saltwater rods, although it might make a good striper rod. Used very little. Excellent. $195.00.

  71. Sage 996RPL. This one's a graphite III 9'6" 9 weight two-piece. It features Sage's wonderful medium fast action that was so popular in these RPL models and which lived on in the old Discovery rods, too. Lots of steelheaders and Atlantic salmon fishermen love this rod. This is a factory rod that came with the a non-original factory rodsock, but no the tube. I've added a brand new Landmark silver aluminum tube with brass accents to it. The blank appears to be perfect with only minimal soiling on the cork. A terrific rod at this price. $225.00.

  72. Sage TCX 990-4. Considered by many to be Sage's best casting rod ever. They tamed this one down a bit from the superstiff TCR and moved it into their Generation 5 technology. It does not have the butt strength of the Xi3, nor does it have the oversized saltwater strippers and snakes. Yet I think the guides they used are adequate for most applications you'd likely subject it to. It comes with the original rodsock and tube. There really are no signs that this rod was ever used as even the cork shows virtually no soiling. It likely was lawncast, but maybe never fished. NEW LOWER PRICE! $475.00.

  73. Sage Xi3 990-4. This is the current top level saltwater rod from Sage, and is regarded by many as being the finest saltwater rod on the market today. This is the nine weight version of the rod that finished third in George Anderson's 8 weight shootout and was beaten out only by two rods just introduced recently. This one is in nearly new condition with only the slightest amount of soiling on the cork. It comes with the original rodsock and tube and at a price well under the current retail. $475.00.

  74. ADG Colorado Titanium 9' 9/10 weight 4-piece. Made in the USA. I've cast a couple of these over the years and they really are very nice casting rods. I guess the best description I can come up with is that they're quite fast without being stiff. I would treat the 9/10 designation as in the old days. Throw your weight forward floating lines in a ten weight and your sinking lines (or double taper floating if so inclined) as a nine weight. This one has a grey blank, a beautiful pewter colored anodized reelseat, sleeve ferrules and an inch and a half cork fighting butt. It shows minimal use as even the cork is quite clean. It comes with the original rod sock, but no rod tube. The price shown is well below 50% off retail. Excellent+. $250.00.SOLD

  75. Beulah SEVEN piece Travel rod 9' 10 weight. This specific rod is why I became a Beulah dealer. For a couple of years the only rods I sold of theirs were the two seven piece travel rods. I think this is the first one I've found used and it's worthwhile as the they haven't been made new for a couple of years now. A true ten, I doubt you'd be tempted to upline it. In fact, I used it often with a 9 weight bonefish line that was closer to being a 9 1/2 weight and it made a good bonefish rod. For several years I traveled to the Bahamas to bonefish and had only the 8 weight and 10 weight Beulah Travel rods. With the original sock and tube. Excellent. $195.00

  76. Beulah 9' 10 weight Guide rod (4 piece.) This is a terrific rod at a very attractive price and includes a SPARE TIP. I've used it for stripers on the East Coast, false albacore in North Carolina, and it went to Alaska with me a couple of times when pursuing giant pike. As mentioned elsewhere, I have way too many 10 weight rods, and it's time to clear a few out. This has had only moderate use which will be obvious when you check it out. The blank is totally clean and the cork has only very minimal soiling. Excellent. $195.00.

  77. Guideline LPXe RS 9' 10 weight 4 piece. About four years ago I picked up a demo of this very rod at the Great Lakes Spey Clave in Newaygo, Michigan. Having never cast one before, or even knowing that Guideline made single-handed rods, I worked out the line, made one false case, and proceeded to dump the entire one hundred foot ten weight line. Virtually effortless. I don't recall ever having done that before and probably only my Cross Current GLX would do that for me now. The Beulah Bluewater can cast farther than either of these, but not with just one false case. Anyway, I immediately ordered one. It's a very lightweight rod, with a super narrow blank and has been used very little. The RS designation in the model name refers to their "saltwater" rods. There is some minimal soiling of the cork, but the blank is like new. It comes with the original rodscok and tube. Truth is, I just have way more ten weights than I can possibly use. Excellent. $295.00.

  78. Sage TCX 1090-4. Considered by many to be Sage's best casting rod ever. They tamed this one down a bit from the superstiff TCR and moved it into their Generation 5 technology. It does not have the butt strength of the Xi3, nor does it have the oversized saltwater strippers and snakes. Yet I think the guides they used are adequate for most applications you'd likely subject it toIt comes with the original rodsock and tube. There really are no signs that this rod was ever used as even the cork shows virtually no soiling. It likely was lawncast, but maybe never fished. NEW LOWER PRICE! $495.00.

  79. Sage Xi3 1190-4. This is the current top level saltwater rod from Sage, and is regarded by many as being the finest saltwater rod on the market today. This one is particularly noted for its lifting ability that doesn't compromise its casting strengths. It is in nearly new condition with only the slightest amount of soiling on the cork. It comes with the original rodsock and tube and at a price well under the current retail. $495.00.SOLD

  80. Diamondback 14' 10 weight 3 piece speyrod. Assembled from a blank by well known Wisconsin rod builder, Bob Blumreich. This is a horse of rod, probably best suited to king salmon and the like. It has a stiffer feel than most of the buggy whip traditional speyrods, but it's not quite as crisp as most Scandinavian rods so popular today. If you like fishing Rio Windcutters or Mid-Speys in the 9/10/11 weight area I think you'll love this rod. It features a copper/brown blank and spigot ferrules. It also comes with a gorgeous aluminum tube and a rod sock. Shows little, if any, signs of use. Excellent. $295.00.

RECENT ARRIVALS and Business owned gear-These will have photos available when I get a chance to get them done.

  83. Mt. Rainier 3.5" RV. Monte Schroeder, of Mt. Rainier Flyreel Works, developed these simple AR reels back in the late 1980s. I used my 3.5 RV Ti for many years, and it was like new when I finally sold it. This one is aluminum and IS brand new. 3.5"x0.95" and 8.8oz. It'll hold a WF7F and 150yds of 20#. Importantly, it'll hold a WF9F and almost 200yds of 50# PowerPro. It comes with a SPARE SPOOL and both spools are Delrin cassettes. It also comes with the original reel pouch and instruction book. Brand new. RH or LH. $250.00.

  84. Mt. Rainier 3.5" Classic. Monte Schroeder, of Mt. Rainier Flyreel Works, developed these simple AR reels back in the late 1980s. I used my 3.5 RV Ti for many years, and it was like new when I finally sold it. This one is aluminum and IS brand new. 3.45"x1.10" and 10.4oz. It'll hold a WF9F and 150yds of 20#. The Classic is what Monte at one time called his vom Hofe design. Black and silver with an S-handle and black reelfoot. It comes with a SPARE SPOOL and both spools are Delrin cassettes. It also comes with the original reel pouch and instruction book. Brand new. RH or LH. $350.00.

  85. Mt. Rainier Spey. A rather unusal design, even for Monte Schroeder of Mt. Rainier. The frame is essentially just an angled bar with a reelfoot. The rest of the spool is exposed on both sides. 4.5"x1.0" and 16.0oz. I'd guess that it'll hold a 9/10 Scandi head, running line, and about 150yds of 30#. This reel is anti-reverse, has an outgoing click, an S-handle of sorts, rim control on both sides, a conical drag, and a large handle. It's unused and is being offered at considerably below the intended retail. RH/LH. Excellent. $495.00.

  86. Gilmore conversion kits. These convert your Gilmore reel from anti-reverse to direct drive or vice versa. Once you've done it once or twice the whole task can be accomplished in a matter of a few seconds. To me, it is one of the best features of the Gilmore reel, but truthfully most people who buy the reel do not buy the conversion kit. These have been on my shelf for years and need to find a happy home. When AR is listed first, that means it's a kit to convert an anti-reverse reel into direct drive. I have the Model X360 in AR-->DD, X400 in AR-->DD, and X475 in AR-->DD. These retail from $185.00 to $221.00. I'm selling them for $95.00 each. At this price, if you own a Gilmore you ought to check to see if one of these will work on your reel, as it'll allow you to use your Gilmore as either an anti-reverse or a direct drive depending upon the species pursued and conditions. Black. All are new from inventory. $95.00.

  87. HarrisonSW Los Roques. Felton Harrison was the first person to use titanium in a commercially available fly reel that I know of. It's not the frame or spool that's titanium. It's the pawl, spindle, and a few other small parts that normally would be of much heavier stainless steel. I believe that only about 104 reels were ever sold with the HarrisonSW name. They were available in four sizes and in both direct drive and anti-reverse. This one is direct drive. Suffice it to say that all the models are quite scarce. 3.7"x1.3" and 9.4oz. It will hold a WF9F and 250yds of 30# backing. It features beautiful gold anodizing with a large impregnated wood handle. The drag knob is on the handle side. I doubt very many of these have ever been used, and this one appears to have never been on a rod or been lined. These have been seriously sought after by collectors, especially in this condition. It could, of course, make someone a nice bonefish reel or be used for stripers, perhaps. Excellent+. LH only. $895.00.

  88. LH Design BB #5. Even more interesting is the serial number---001. Now Leen begins each model with 001 so this serial number means it's the first BB#5 made, not the first LH reel or even the first in the entire BB series. Nevertheless, it's not often one can get a chance at a 001 reel at anything close to a realistic price. I'd rate the condition as Excellent+, but there are some tiny surface scratches that can barely be seen if held up to a good light. Since there's no coating or anodizing on most Ti reels, almost all of them show slight imperfections even when new. $1695.00.

  89. Hodgman Lakestream Wading Shoes. Brand new Size 14 wading shoes. Lightweight, but seems to be built fairly ruggedly. Each pair weighs about 2 1/2 pounds. Felt soles, cushioned midsole and tongue, and brass speed lacing. $20.00.

  90. Patagonia Beefy Wading Shoes. Size 10. Though no longer current, these were just about the best heavy duty wading shoes available. The last is very wide so that multiple wool socks were an easy fit, even with my EEE feet. Strong and durable felt and high quality studs. These have been worn perhaps a dozen or so times and are in Excellent condition. I think the final retail price on these was about $160.00. This is a terrific deal at $50.00.

  91. Wheatley Vac-Rac. One of the early rod racks designed to be used on the hood and roof of a vehicle. These were imported and distributed by Rio line company in the 1990's. The rely on suction so there is no magnet to mar the surface of the vehicle. I've driven as fast as 65mph with four rods and reels attached and never had a problem. I used to use these while steelheading here in the Midwest, but I rarely do that type of fishing any longer and haven't used these in a few years. Excellent. $50.00.

  92. Vosseler Pro Fly Tying Vise. This is the vise that won a "Best New Product" award at the Fly Fishing Retailer Show a few years ago. It has a unique appearance, but is quite easy with which to tie. It features a suction cup base so that the vise can be secured almost anywhere. Once secured, it can be rotated from 5 different axis points. It also features a unique and patented jaw mechanism. This vise is brand new from my inventory. The price is more than 40% off of retail. New. $150.00.
